Streetwise Security Products warrants each new Touchdown 5,000,000 unit for a lifetime-limited-warranty against defects in materials or workmanship with the following exceptions:
The rechargeable batteries are warranted for 2 years from the date of purchase.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care, moisture, the affixing of any attachment not provided with the product, loss of parts, or recharging the unit not according to the instructions listed in the manual (which comes with each unit).
Tampering with and/or opening the unit, or the use of unauthorized replacement parts unless by an Authorized Dealer will void the warranty.
Stun Guns use high voltage and low amperage to temporarily disable an attacker for several minutes. The stun gun does not rely on pain for results. The energy stored in the gun is dumped into the attacker’s muscles causing them to do a great deal of work rapidly. This rapid work cycle instantly depletes the attacker’s blood sugar by converting it to lactic acid. In short, he is unable to produce energy for his muscles, and his body is unable to function properly.
